Semi Perm Veggie dyes and keratin treatments

My hair, after being in a terrible knot for about two weeks, went kinky.
They break so much, they're dry and look like a mop (although I like the volume)
I was thinking of getting this done: http://www.zenredsalonbangkok.com/Brazilian-Keratin-Straightening-Bangkok-Thailand.html
And then putting veggie dye on top of it...
What should I do you guys? πŸ™ Leave my kinky hair as it is and dye it as I wanted, or get keratin treatment?
Please help 😑

Have you tried organix keratin shampoo and conditioner? I love it makes my naturally wavy frizzy hair practically straight, without having to add heat. Although it does leave some flicks in my hair which I straighten out when I can be bothered

Hmm.. Thanks so much for suggesting. I will definitely check it out.
I've got pretty much same hair as black people, alarmingly, no oil makes it straight and soft, they're almost oil-proof, and stay kinky.. will this shampoo do the trick then? x

I'm not sure, I know for me I struggled to find anything that didn't leave me with lots of frizz, but I never really had problems with my hair tangling up. Also with the keratin treatments do you not need to dye your hair before?

No, I don't think so... I don't see any connection between dying your hair and keratin treatments. I am just afraid that the colour won't stick properly.

I'm nearly done with all the tangles, I'll wash my hair, condition lightly and we'll see if it's kinky still

Be careful with protein if your hair is already dry and prone to tangling ... protein treatments can really dry out the hair, so make sure you have a really good deep conditioner at the ready for after!

If you do want to get a keratin treatment, I highly recommend this one:

It does not leave the hair feeling dry at all whatsoever like a lot of keratin treatments will. There are no silicones in it, so it is just pure nutrients going into the hair. It makes the strand feel a lot thicker and stronger + much smoother. Whichever treatment you do choose though, if your hair is already breaking I would be very careful with the straightening part. Simply blow drying it in makes a huge difference and makes the hair a lot straighter, but if you do do the straightening part I would only run it over a section once or twice.

Also, before you get it done, I would try to get a good trim and try to restore some moisture back to your hair. An African fried recommended this to me years ago, she swore by it and so do I! I love it:

I usually try to dye my hair before getting doing a keratin treatment. You have to clarify before doing the treatment + I don't want it to fade my color lol. I have dyed right after doing a keratin treatment though, this one specifically without the silicones in it, and it didn't effect the dye uptake at all + it didn't make it fade faster or anything either.
