Just a quick one, would a semi permenant brown take over light/ginger henna hair. I don't want to bleach it out, I just want a more bareable time whilst growing it out. My roots really don't look good with the orange so brown is probably the best bet. Thanks

It would go on at first, but semis wash out fast on unprocessed hair. I would suggest a mild bleach bath or just soaking with peroxide to open the cuticle. It will be minimally damaging and will allow the dye to last longer in your hair.

The hair under the henna is processed however I know henna seals the cuticle or something along those lines. I could bleach bathe it, I'm worried about how it may react though. The henna I used was from Lush btw, which doesn't contain metallic salts I don't think.
