Just dyed my hair. Red wanted more of an orange red but turned out really red. and I hate it. If I dyed brown over it what would happen would I get a more mahogany color? That would have to be better than this. I just need a quick fix to his hair. Used adore blaze orange with a little ruby red in it. too much ruby red. washed it out a couple of times and it is much better still want to do any orange over the top. But thanks that helps so much.

Try giving it a couple of good shampoos and see how it fades. I have a feeling it will go much more orange.

I agree, I think a few good shampoos and it will be much more orangey. I would hold off the brown , you can always add in more orange.

Adore Orange Blaze is very red from the start but shows a lot more orange after just one wash. You can probably get the color you want with just Orange Blaze.
