Hey girls and guys! *1*
Just a quickie, I need your opinions as I have never used pravana before!
I am looking for this kind of result:
I had a healthy mix of orange and red dyes (mainly direction), faded over permanent red and orange, used color b4 that took me back to light orangey blonde, bleached my hair (20min at 20vol, only 8min on ends and roots) to get rid of the roots and lighten the parts that needed lightening and the orange and ended up with that (pictures taken with a slight yellow lighting due to sun going down)
I'm mostly light golden blonde with very light ends and strands and a bit of pastel orange mid strand.
Question is, is my current base good enough to get the result I want? I would rather not have to put any bleach on it since my curly hair is really sensitive to it. I don't mind the hair not being one flat color (different strands, it adds dimension. But I can spot bleach it if it is really necessary.
I'm just a bit worried about the pastel orange parts? Pravana violet being a true purple should tone it down but I want to be sure not to end up looking muddy! I would like the violet to pop blue/purple depending on lighting!
I intend to dilute pravana since it's apparently strong stuff and a little goes a long way (and I really don't want my hair to look black inside it really doesn't suit me!)
π
Thank you for your time! x3 *cheers*
I've not used Pravana Violet, but it looks on the darker side so should be fine π I wouldn't dilute too much though
Thank you very much for your answer @Janineb! *cheers*
If anyone has used pravana violet, don't hesitate to let me know, I'll do the deed monday evening π
Update!
Worked perfectly π
You definitely don't need much with Pravana! 1:6 pravana : conditioner gave me dark lavender hair, 1:2 or 1:3 gave me what I wanted (the first picture <3)
I only used half the tube for both my trials and my hair is curly and goes to the waist. *1*
