Question about Bases for Green/Blue/Dark Teals

Hii guys! its been a while since I've been on here ( mostly because I forgot my email address pword and pword for here)
I have had purple hair for the longest now... and decided that i wanted to try MP Enchanted Forest or mix a few dyes together to achieve a dark teal color!
My question is... what base color would work better? Is it necessary to bleach my hair super bright to achieve a dark color? or is the color in the picture I posted below good enough for it? (ginger-y base color)
*gallery* I have been browsing around but most colors i've seen are either super light, or the person bleached their hair bright yellow/blonde *gallery*
*thx* ;D

It will cover that, but it will also be very dark. So if that's what you're after anyway that's great, it's definitely nit necessary to have really light hair for a dark green teal colour. Is the picture the colour of your hair now? If so then I would try a strand test and if you think the result is too dark/muddy then you could do a mild bleach bath depending on how long ago you last bleached your hair.

Thank you! and currently thats not my hair color, but its my go to color when I do touch up for my SFX Deep Purple. I am planning to change my color sometime in October, before Halloween. But if the color comes out too dark/muddy on the strand test, would mixing it with a bit of conditioner or a lighter green/blue help it a bit?
Thank you again πŸ™‚

Unfortunately a lighter colour would only come out muddyer because more of the Orange would show through. You'd either have to go with a darker  colour or lighten your hair more. But I don't think you should have too much of a problem with a base like that πŸ™‚
