Hi all, so a couple of months ago I did a semi permanente DIY dye, you know, the supermarket kind, a dark blonde (6.0) over my pretty much natural light brown hair. Yesterday I used Colour B4 hoping to strip the dye and the reddish hue and ended up kind of copper ::)
On this forum a girl explained that the semi permanent dye lightened my hair before adding color, hence the copper. Question: could I pull off a purple on this base? Or blue would work better?
Otherwise, I guess I could try a bleach bath to lighten a bit more, but trouble is, I don't want to touch the roots, I have like 1 inch of natural roots and I just know that if I bleach all over I'll end up with lighter lenghts (I say lenghts...) and orange roots... I'll add my pic and a couple of pics of what I'd like to achieve.
Edit: don't know why my pic came out upside down, sorry:(

You can get a purple over that base, but not a blue toned violet shade like the pics.
The orange tones in your hair will pull a purple more towards a reddish burgundy berry colour. Something like Adore Purple rage would work, it will be multi tonal on that base which would look lovely
Blue and orange make brown, so I would avoid blue
