I did my hair with a mixture of Pravana Violet, Directions Neon Blue and SFX Blue Velvet. It started as a really deep blurple, but now it's gone a bit weird (four co-washes later). I have two inches of virgin roots, then about three inches of royal blue, then the lengths are a true purple. The blue bits are where there was a pale-ish green underneath: has the green cancelled out the red tone of the purple to produce the blue effect?
I neeeeeed to do my roots, so I am thinking of bleaching then, bleaching bathing a little of the bluer lengths and slapping turquoise on to get a turquoise-purple gradient. Is this a crazy idea? I've only ever gradiented once and I'm not confident with the technique yet. But I love turquoise and purple together.

Yeah, I'd say that's most likely.
I think your plan should work. It does depend on what happens to the blue with the bleach of course!

I did it!
My purple has all gone blue now though, so I have a turquoise to blue transition. I love it!
