Purple go go over medium brown hair?

So I want to dye my hair a deep purple, but I CANNOT lighten it at all. It's totally fried and I don't want to damage it much more. The first picture is what it looks like now, the second is how I want it to look. Any help at all is appreciated, I'm totally overwhelmed with what to do πŸ™

im really sorry, but i dont think you can get that bright results unless your hair is at least yellowy blond :/ all i can advise you is try to get your hair as healthy as possible (try argan and macadamia oil, they are amazing, my hair was totally fried and its almost completely healthy now thanks to those two), cut your dead ends and slowly bleach bath it.

Is the brown your natural colour or a dye? If it is a dye a colour remover will help and should leave you with light enough hair to get a decent purple over. If natural, then Special effects have the best dyes for covering less than perfect bases. I would go for a warm purple like Pimpin Purple. It won't be as vivid as over a bleached base, but it will look a definite purple on that brown.

Directions Plum may work over your base. It won't be as vibrant as in the picture you posted but still pretty purple anyway. I use it and my haircolor is similar to yours
