Purple Blue ombre?

Hi! first, I'm sorry for my English and hope you can still understand what I'm trying to say.
I'm from Germany and only 17 so it's not perfect yet.
I desperately need help.
My hair is currently blue and last week I tried dying over it with Crazy Color Burgundy.
The dye washed out completely after like 3 days and only my roots stayed purple and then went over to blue and I really loved it.
Now I want to try dying my hair like that.
The purple should be going to my ears and then fading to a blue but I have no idea what the best way to do that is.
The problem is, I have to bleach my roots because my roots are too healthy and the dye doesn't stick to my hair then.
I was thinking about bleaching all the parts that I want purple but I'm really scared I'm going to do something wrong and that I will just have a straight blonde line and not getting that fading look later with the purple.
So basically, I want a purple blue ombre look, purple going over into blue.
hope somebody can help me!

I'm not the best person to advise you about bleaching the roots as it's something I've never done πŸ™‚ but you can tease your hair a bit before applying the hairdye, this way you won't have a straight line and it will look like the two colors blend one into the other in a more natural way.

That doesn't really work with a gradient this way around.

Just bleach your roots like normal, it should be fine. There's two ways of avoiding a bright line. One is pick a deeper purple. The other is to first dye the roots the same blue as the rest.

I've done gradients several times now. I put the colour at the roots first, then I literally just pull it through to the level I want it. That way it gets a nice broken soft line. If then you want to top up the blue, start putting it on the ends, a few centimetres below where you want it to blend with the purple. The again start pulling the blue to the ends, starting at the end of the purple. There should be enough blue on your gloves to gradually start blending it. If you need more dye, just gradually add more.

It's time consuming, but it's the most effective way πŸ™‚
