Purple based blues?

Hola

Currently fading my flamingo but with designs on mermaidy goodness ...I know that green is sea awesome but I need to think of purple based blues I think because I had orangey yellow bleach result and I figure anything greeny may go bleurgh whereas purple will neutralise.

I didn't see much mention of purply blue fade in the sticky thread, sorry if I missed it!

TIA

Most (if not all) of Special Effects blues are purple based, Directions Neon Blue, Adore Indigo Blue are too.
If you are putting blue over pink you can get away with a green based blue as the pink mixed with the blue will create violet tones, so a pink base is actually ideal for getting a true blue without a green fade

Thanks!

I have used a multitude of Directions and I remember that between Midnight and Neon there were differences of fade that surprised me so it fits in that Neon is the purplier one (as midnight seems more like it should be)

I'll see if I can fade well and then maybe a bleach bath to capture my roots as they're pretty light already when it has been over a month since the initial bleach to get pink (3 weeks ago, not in a massive hurry!)
