I'm sure it's been asked before, but I didn't see it... my store sells Punky Color and I could get it on a sllight discount. I usually use Pravana Violet and I LOVE that color, but I'm wondering what people's experience has been with PC, if you've used it. I figure it could be good to add/dilute. I'm actually fresh out of purple anyway and know I will def order more Pravana, but was wondering if I should pick up the PC Purple too, if it's good or not. Thanks!

I prefer Punky over Pravana. The closest color to Pravana Violet would be Punky Plum. It is so pigmented that it is nearly black in the tub, but it does have a pink fade. Their Violet is very blue based, and fades lilac. Their Purple is a magenta color, similar to Pravana Wild Orchid.

Oh cool. I knew you had used them in the past. I love the color of Pravana violet. Wild orchid is too pink for me but all we have is punky purple (and some blues and reds). I suppose I could mix it. My hair is quite violet now anyway. Plus I plan on getting more Pravana too. I still think it would be a good deal so I might just do it. I love the color of your hair now. Big fan of light fades and roots.
Update: I just bought it. What a disappointment! I'm sure the quality is good, but the color is WAY magenta. I know you told me that, but the images online looked more mid purple than it does in real life, and I figure I could mix it with blue (which I have alreayd). I got it for $6.94 which is great buuutt I also already have Wild Orchid so now I'm not sure I'll really need all of this. I guess I'll be doing a loooottaa mixing lol. I will probably avoid diluting it with conditioners and just use it as a one time color. Def getting more pravana. Diluted Violet is my favorite color!!
