Evening all! 🙂
So, I am actually quite liking my hair colour at the minute but I feel the need to mix it up a bit with a change of shade! 🙂
At the minute it is a rubine/carnation mix (50/50) over a pinky base and although it started off more of a red it is now a nice kind of raspberry pink.
I have got the following colours already in
Rubine/carnation mix (I always make double)
Poppy Red
Flamingo Pink
Diluted Plum mix
Problem is I can't decide whether to go more red or more pink next?? I've added pics of me with both colours (a random red mix / atomic pink), I am leaning towards pink for a change though as I red is always my fallback colour. I need to do a bleach bath on my roots & greys anyway so will probably have a lightish pink base!
What kind of pink would I end up with if I mixed the flamingo in with the rubine/carnation mix?

I vote pink! I think red looks great on you but I really love how pink looks. And if you get sick of it you can easily just throw some red over it 🙂

Definitely pink. I may be biased - but I'm on a mission to get mine from red to pink and it's really hard work. I'd go pink, then if you don't like it it's easier to add red rather than the other way round. 😀

I think you look great with both colours, but as SoniaJM said, it's much easier to go pink first and then red if you don't like it rather than the other way around.

I actually prefer the red on you. You would need to put something orangey over your current raspberry shade to get a true red though.

Thank you lovely ladies, I've mixed the Flamingo Pink into the Rubine/Carnation mix and have got a lovely deep pink ready to go on, I'll do a bleach bath tomorrow and pop it on overnight! 🙂
Might get an SFX Atomic Pink when it comes back in to stock for next time though if I decide to stay with the pink for a while!
**EDIT** Slight change of plan...did the bleach bath and revealed the most glorious highlighter pink colour! So I've popped a bit of my pink mix in with a load of conditioner and I'm leaving it on over night, hoping for a nice bright barbie pink...this could go fantastically well or horribly wrong!! Fingers and toes crossed for tomorrow morning please then I'm having it cut on Monday! 🙂
***Yaaaaay!!! A teensy tiny smudge darker than the revised plan but a couple of washes should lift it a bit! I'm well happy with it...A proper pink! I'll post a proper pic after I get it cut but here's a sneak preview! 🙂
