I've been using purples for some time now, but since a lot of the manufacturers changed their formula to fade to the murky green, I want to know if anyone has an idea of which purples still fade pinkish. I want this to be as long lasting as possible.
I'm looking for 1 color by Special Effects or Adore or a mix of pink and blue by Directions. I have Stargazer in a shop near me, but they last about a week on my hair.

Special Effects Deep Purple is pink based and very rich. I diluted it quite a bit and it still came out quite dark and lasted well. Adore Violet Gem isn't as pigmented but it's a punch cheaper, and probably a little on the pinker side.

I can tell you Adore African Violet is extremely blue (and dark!), if that's any help. I've also got Violet Gem and Purple Rage - I haven't used either of them on my hair yet but on paper the Violet Gem looks brighter and pinker than the Purple Rage.

Thanks, I think I'm looking for something dark this time. I ordered Deep Purple by SFX, I hope it's the same as I remember.
Thanks for the swatches those Adore shades look amazing, I love their dyes, they lasted the longest on me. I'll get Violet Gem to mix with, if Deep Purple is with a changed formula.
