A mix of bleach powder, clarifying shampoo and coconut oil is great for pulling out loads of colour too, just mix them all together and shampoo in leave it for about 45mins under a shower cap and the wash out and condition as normal.  Causes minimal damage and doesn't dry too much xXx

I would do another colour remover before trying to bleach, it is likely to go a rather vibrant orange otherwise.
What is the red that you have in your hair. Do you mean devilish by SFX? The bleach powder.shampoo/oils method is great on direct dyes. Colour remover will also be needed if you have any permanent dye underneath
BTW, if my manager told me I could have any colour but green, i would want green just to show them green isn't 'horrible'. I hate how people are so prejudiced against green hair. My daughter was told in her last job she could have her hair any colour 'except lime green'.

I spoke to my manager again and he said he doesn't think bright pink isnt professional even though one lady before me had bright pink and purple hair and he thought it wasn't professional. but apparently if I had a hair colour he didn't approve of I cud fade it out.
I fancy a pastel shade though.
I think bleaching this colour wud be fine as that photo makes it look very orange and its not a bad 🙂

Special effects dyes do tend to go quite neon when bleached, so I would try on a strand test.
The bleach powder/shampoo/oils method is more effective and less damaging though. Bleach is not the best way to remove direct dyes.

What is making it look pinky orange then? was your base bleached or dyed with permanent dye?
I really don't think you will have got all of the Devilish out with vitamin c and H&S in less than a week, especially since it was so vibrant to begin with. SFX reds tend to be stubborn.
If you bleach over it, you can not only make it more neon, but drive the colour deeper in making it almost impossible to remove.
If you want a blonde base it is important not to rush to bleach. I can tell you think bleach will be a magical solution, but i think patience is required here.

I haven't bleached it since June last year then used a red permanent dye on my roots and semi perm too brighten it up.
I used a colour remover as well as those treatments.
When I was with head and shoulders no colour seems to come out.
I don't need a perfect blonde Base as I don't want to go blonde.
But I've 3 days off now and I've all the stuff ready for bleaching. I'll post a photo after x

Even if you don't want a blonde base bleaching is a bad idea. It's a real last resort. You're no where near a last resort right now. The colour remover is more likely to have removed the permanent dyes and left behind the sfx.

Good luck, mine went neon yellow when I tried to bleach out the residue left by SFX reds, hope you have better luck!

Pastels only tend to work on very pale/toned to white hair so I don't think you'll achieve the result you're after.
You could always leave it a week and bleach bath again, although reading what your hair and scalp has been through I'd leave your hair for a bit as damage can sometimes creep up on you without you realising.
