So I now work in a job where I can have different hair colour yaaaay! Retail before sucked.  So at the moment it is devilish by directions. I'm trying to fade it all this week got my head and shoulders and I'm gna do vitamin c rinse. Then try a bleach bath.
I asked when having my job interview what their policy on hair colour is and he said as long asit's not green and horrible we don't mind.  And I've been told a girl who worked there before me had pink and purple.
Now I have choices. Iam thinking pink maybe but I dunno whether to go a light shade first or something else?
I wouldn't say I'm pale but I'm not tanned.
My display photo was only last week so that's my tone lol.
So help guys suggest stuff cos I'm much looking forward to trying new things.  BECAUSE I CAN πŸ˜€

You'd suit a bright or pale pink. Pale pink will be hard to acheive of faded red though. I wouldn't be surprised if it were fairly stained as that's just what reds do.

I'm itching to do my hair lol but I need to wait till next wknd as i have 3 days off.

I went sallys today and the ladies were so good! I was so happy to talk to people that know what they are talking about in a shop.  πŸ™‚ got my bleaching stuff for my  bleach bath.  I'm excited to try something new.
I was in my last retail job for nearly 11 years and the store manager didn't like red hair.  Now my new job I can go anything!

I generally don't trust Sally's employee's. They rarely have much really good knowledge. Though I'm always happy to be proved wrong πŸ™‚

I wouldn't bleach bath out the colour, if that's what you're planning. That should always be a last resort. I know you're itching to do it, but you don't need to fade it a lot to get a good bright pink. Here's a good thread for fading methods http://www.hairdyeforum.com/index.php/topic,1704.0.html

The one lady in sallys was a hairdresser.
I'll take a look at the time.
I'm having my mum beg me not to go pink and to go chocolate brown! Lol

Unfortunately, I don't trust hairdressers when it comes to bright colours either. Most of them reach for the bleach too soon when there's loads of other options that won't cause anywhere near the same amount of damage.

I'm so lucky I don't have people that beg me to go natural colours. I think it's partly because it'll just cause an argument and they'd never win!

You can have a dark pink πŸ™‚ just put pink over when it's barely faded. It'll still be a bright colour, but darker shade. Suits both things you want.

Well, I don't mind impatience if it leads you down the path of doing it the better way πŸ™‚ just be sure to deep condition and use a vinegar rinse as vit. C is pretty drying.

Mix one part of vinegar to 10 parts water (roughly). Pour over your hair as a last rinse. Don't rinse out. The vinegar smell will go when it dries.

I mean ratios. If your measure is a capful or small glass, one capful or glassful of vinegar and 10 of water.

Colour removers can strip quite a lot of colour, and tends to work better when it's started to fade. So it might worn well πŸ™‚
