Nothing gets out the orange tones...

Hey! Apologies in advance for a rambling post but need some advice!

History: So basically I have naturally medium ash brown hair, I've been dark brown and red several times before in the past 2 years (lots of box dyes  :-X I know... I was young! I didn't know better! lol). This year I have entered into the bleach bathing world and did full dip dye in the summer which seemed to work ok but I have a LOT of orange tones in my hair (have done several Colour B4s as well, the last one was a week ago and didn't lift my hair much). I had about 4 inches cut off in Nov so got rid of a fair bit of the damage from my hair (I know that the rest is still pretty damaged due to years of box dyes though!!)

Current Issue:
Yesterday I got a bit sick of the orange tones that show up in the light, that seem even more obvious to me now that my ash-brown roots are showing, so I bleached bathed the ends for another kinda dip dye, [wishful]thinking that I could then cover it with a purple semi (Schwarzkopt Ultra Brights Purple Punk) and it would all neutralise out to  a bog standard brownish colour or something.  Anyway, what I've been left with is the picture, which is very orange and coppery (dare I say it, even more so than when I started  :'( :'( )

[My] Possible Solutions:
1) I have the Schwarzkopt Ultra Brights Blue that I was going to cover it all with, as I've used that before when my hair was a lot darker and it just turned my hair browny/black/blue, which at least would get rid of the copper tones (maybe?!?).

OR I was thinking...

2) I could cut my losses and just put like,a bright red demi over it (on Amazon Prime within 2 hours today, I can get Directions in Pillar Box Red or Renbow Crazy Color in Fire) and just embrace being red. The only reason I don't want to do that is I have super pale skin and a hairdresser recently told me I should never go red, cos I have 'blue tones' in my skin. I think that maybe I might be able to get away with a pinky red though?

Any advice would be much appreciated!! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Thanks

What colour do you want ideally?
Pale skin does not mean you should avoid red hair. I am super pale and look great with pink/purple based reds, they make my pale skin and blue eyes pop. I just need to avoid anything yellow, so very orangey shades are a bad idea.
Directions Rose Red (diluted, it is very highly pigmented) would look great over your current base, it will go cherry red over the brown and magenta on the blonde parts, so very dramatic if that is something you would want.
