Hi everyone! I dye my blonde hair ginger/orange. I got it done in a salon first but my roots are growing in. They're a medium to light ash blonde. What orange/copper dye do you recommend to touch up roots? I tried Joico semi permanent color intensity orange dye but my roots didn't take. Do I have to bleach them? They're pretty light naturally. Can't insert a picture sadly as the files are too large.
Do any of you ladies dye your hair ginger? What do you use?

Adore have some really nice gingers but whilst they probably will show up on your natural roots they probably won't hold on to the colour for very long, I tended to either lighten my roots slightly with a mild bleach bath or use a permanent box dye just on the roots to give it something to grab onto, then just use the Adore all over to top up the colour (you may even get away with a semi permanent box dye to rough up the cuticle a bit and let the Adore stick, it'll depend on your hair and how it reacts to dyes).

Hi, Sorry you can't add the photos - we have to limit the size as we have 1000's of photos and eventually larger files would slow down the server and make loading pages, especially on mobiles, extremely slow. You can however upload them to something like photobucket and add a link to them if you want.
I agree with lauralei13's post and here is a list of all Orange Hair Dyes and a list of the Copper/Brown Hair Dyes so you can see all the swatches together for comparison.
One of our newer ranges, Via Natural has some nice copper shades as well as Adore.
