Hello!
I know this isn't an alternative colour question but I do have Manic Panic Blue in my cupboard... ;D
My recent history (in a nutshell)..
Summer 2016 - my hair was to my chin - completely natural (no dye AT ALL) as I was growing out a crop so decided not to dye it and it was LOVELY!! A cool brown (NO RED) with random white hairs (wisdom highlights)..... BUT I got bored...
Late summer 2016 - Sunkissed (I know I know!!!!)
Autumn to Now - dark dye, vitamin c treatment, highlights then dark dye then vitamin c treatment - & repeat!!!
Present Time: Slightly fried hair (but still reasonably decent condition - not falling out just yet..) But I would now like to get back to my original hair colour *censored*...
So I plan to do another vitamin c treatment to get all the box dye out and assume I'll end up with an orange base..... Then I was going to mix Topchic 6SB (silver brown) and 6A (dark ash blonde)....
My question (finally) is - what will happen when you mix silver and ash.... I'm hoping for this sort of colour....(hopefully there's a picture attached...)
Any thoughts????
Thanks.,
Tara
I can't help but feel I'm being discriminated against because my dye question is about normal colours.... π
Am I a victim of colourism?!?!?! :'(
*anyone*
It's not a very busy forum, if you don't get a reply after one day it doesn't mean you're being ignored probably not many people have seen it.
Those colours can be mixed but the result will depend on your base colour and what level of peroxide you use. On an orange base though any silver is likely to go muddy brown. The picture you've attached comes from the webpage Killerstrands What Exactly Is A Hair Color Booster & Why Do You Need Them ? and it says it "could be achieved by adding 0/11 PLUS 5/7 Plus 20 Volume" in Wella Koleston Perfect.
The best way to see is to strand test.
Have you tried using an actual colour remover to get the old dye out?
