Mixing an orangey red with a pinky red?

I'm wondering about mixing orangey reds with a pink based red?  I've got Adore colours Paprika, Cajun Spice and Intense Red.  Will it turn out something unexpected, like green??  I usually use a combo of paprika and Cajun spice but wanted to add a little more oomph to it so ordered the Intense Red, not knowing it was more of a cool colour!

Ok thanks!  I didn't have the patience for a strand test so went ahead and mixed 1 bottle Paprika, 1 bottle Cajun Spice and just under  1/2 bottle Intense red.  It's sitting on my head now, so we'll see what happens LOL.

I always mix my reds.  Mixing dyes is just like mixing paint--you couldn't get green unless you had yellow and blue (which is why people who try to go ash brown over blonde end up green), you couldn't get brown unless you had orange and blue, stronger shades eat up paler ones completely.  Orange and pink just mix together to make a true red.

Yes it turned out fine actually!  It's very dark so hard to see the colour in a picture or I'd post one.  In the light though you can see it's a deep red.  On the bits of old highlighted hair that I have left the colour is really vibrant.    My hair, well most of it,  is a medium orangey brown under the Adore which is why it turns out so dark.  My old highlights are much lighter.    I was worried about the yellow in the orangey red and the cool tones of intense red mixing together, it's not exactly blue based but leaning towards purple I'd say.  But it all worked out  ;D    I want to very soon try a bleach bath (while covering up my old damaged highlighted bits with foil) to get everything evened out and lightened up just a bit.  I have all the ingredients I need, I'm just a little scared about doing it.

I've got a bottle of paprika and Cajun spice (but no intense red) do you know how the colour comes out if you mix just those two?

I've heard it turns out like a natural ginger.

Paprika adds quite a lot of depth to my hair and makes it pretty dark.  Though my base is a light to medium orangey brown to begin with.  Cajun spice adds more of a ginger-orange colour and less depth which is why I like mixing the two.  The combination does turn out more of a natural colour though in the sunlight it can look pretty fiery, I really love it.

Thank you! I find paprika a bit too dark so I'm glad using Cajun spice can brighten it up a little bit.
