What's the difference between the cream dyes, the Amplified dyes and the Gel dyes?

I've always used the standard After Midnight Blue, but now they have it in 3 types, and I don't know what they all do - is the shade at all different?

Personally i find that the amplified is a little brighter and more vibrant and lasts a little longer than the none. I dont know about the gel though as i havent used it but i believe the gel is just the formula, its  alittle thicker than the normal dye

I've found that the amplified tends to last longer before fading, although the colour is pretty much the same, and the gel is just a different consistency, more like the old school Manic Panic that they used to make in the 1990's (if you're old enough to remember it - I'm showing my age here!) instead of the more creamy formula that is the standard one now.  I think that the amplified does come out a shade brighter than the standard one, but it's not enough to class it as a different colour, more like a lit up version of the same colour, if that makes sense!

Amplified is designed to last longer and come out more vibrant. The gels are exactly what it sounds like: its a gel with temporary dye in it so you can have your hair a different color then wash it out. My boyfriend uses the gel. Right now he has greenish turquoise hair and he went on a job hunt, so he put the black gel in to make it look like he had all black hair then he washed it out when he got home (:

I think that the gels apply smoother compared to the cream dyes but I dont have enough experience to tell if they last as long or not πŸ™‚

I'm just here to agree with what everyone's said as I'm late to this info party :p the creams and amplified are the same just amplified kind of like if you stuck "new and improved" on the packaging. The gel is a whole lot more temporary and washes out fast! Think of them for like halloween and crazyhair days for charity, it's styling gel with colour.

Just to clarify some of the conflicting info on this thread: Manic Panic Dye Hard gels are temporary wash out colours (like hair gel with colour added), and are these ones:
http://www.beeunique.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=71&products_id=5949

And Manic Panic gel formula dyes are the same intensity of colour and semi-permanentness of the cream and amplified formulas, but in a different textured gel formula instead, which is this one:
http://www.beeunique.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=71&products_id=2519

I think people are getting confused between the gel formula semi-permanent dyes and the temporary wash out gels!
