Hi Everyone,

I have natural medium blonde hair but since I will be at home with my son for at least another year.

I’ve had red hair in the past but would like to experiment more.

Does anyone have any tip or tricks they would care to share?

I’m initially thinking pink or purple

Thanks

pink and purple are good colors to start with as they are very forgiving of uneven bases; especially the darker shades. Are you going to bleach your hair? bleaching will obviously give you more freedom to choose shades and colors.

I’m not sure about bleaching, my hair is currently light/medium blond at the roots and light blonde from about 2 inches down.

I think I’d like to try and see if something would take over my current hair before venturing into bleaching.

I have cool toned skin so searching for cool tones pink/ purple without going too dark.

Thanks

is that your natural hair color or have you colored it before?
these dyes dont stick well to virgin natural hair but if it has been previously colored then it will work fine.

Top 2 inches are natural, the lighter blonde is dye.

I’ve had a look on manic panic site and really like Electric Amethyst, Lie Locks , Cleo Rose & New Rose

Thanks

You'd be better off with a pink. As Puerkz said though, it's not going to stick well to the natural part. The purples you've mentioned probably won't go too well over medium blonde, but the pinks will come out a lot nicer... though they would be less cool toned over any golden hued hair, so adding a tiny amount of blue would help.
