Knight & Wilson Colour Freedom - Orange Sorbet

I won a tube of new Colour Freedom semi-permanent dye in 'Orange Sorbet' from their facebook page a couple of weeks ago.

I finally got around to trying it and was a little disappointed.  The results weren't as strong or the colour I expected from their sample swatch on the side of the box πŸ™

Before:
My unbleached light blonde hair was dyed a natural gingery colour with a mixture of Superdrug 6-8 wash colour mousse in Rich Red and Adore French Cognac.  This was quite faded.

After:
Very yellow-based gingery orange, stained my face yellow like I was one of the Simpsons!  Did not like my 3 week old roots and didn't want to stick to them at all.

The pros:  Massive tube of dye that easily covered my armpit length hair, good consitency and easy to apply

The negs: Dye didn't take as well as hoped to my hair (considering they show swatches for bleached hair and natural hair), colour was very yellow-based orange rather than red-based as the swatches indicated, smelt like cheap musk bodyspray to me.

They are giving away a lot of tubes free on Facebook right now and do some nice colours: purples, blues, reds, pinks.
