I had my scraggy well overdue hair cut. I also had my roots bleached while in salon. My BF usually does them but he's recovering from hip replacement and bone graft so is  out of action as my hairdresser.  I think I'm going to have roots done in salon in future as it was a lot cheaper than I expected and usually only do roots about every 3 months. Well I'm waffling now, as usual.
Heres pics of cut and roots bleach, this is after I slept on it so its bit messy.

I was planning on dyeing Adore violet gem all over, but seeing as its gone so light would love to put some adore aquamarine in there too, maybe a slice or thick slices.
I really need advice on where you think the aquamarine placement would look best. I've never dyed more than one colour before and haven't got a clue how to do it.
I'd really appreciate some help which shade to do first, how to keep it separate whilst dyeing any tips. I've got tinfoil and vaseline thats all, was thinking of doing it later or would I be better buying box of foils from poundland monday is there anything else I'd need?.
I had it done on Thursday scared to dye as id really like it to get it right.
Any help tips be much appreciated, I'm terrified of doing 2 colours 😊

You could always do your hair Violet Gem & put Aquamarine on your side shave? That would look nice I think. I've started to miss my side shave recently since I've started dying my hair bright colours as I think it'd look pretty cool a different colour to the rest!

I recently dyed my hair with these colours, I had a similar thing with my fringe to yours, I would separate the really purple bits of your fringe and dye The paler bits with aquamarine and the purple buts leave purple so you get a sort of layered look. You'd just have to flip the purple bits to the other side of your head.

the bleach turned the purple fade a nice greeny shade where it overlapped a bit. I see what you mean, do you think hair foils would make it easier? I was also thinking of few random streaks of purple rage in lengths too.
Gonna do I tomo now, too late now watching family guy.
Wicked pixie I was contemplating leaving it for bit too before dyeing maybe tone bleach bits but doubt they're light enough.
Decisions decisions, at least I like the cut and its not crazy hard to style. πŸ™‚

Foils might make it easier πŸ™‚ I can't use them because I'm useless with my hands but people who can actually use them will probably find them helpful.
And I think the purple rage with it would look good.

Marthakins I'm useless with my hands too and lack patience. They sell boxes of hair foils in poundland will pick some up in town tomo.

Hows the best way to rinse the dye off so it doesn't mix up. Hopefully as its Adore it might be better cos it doesnt run as bad as other dyes.

The first time I rinsed it I like put all the blue blue bits to one side of my head ans rinsed with my head weirdly tipped over to each side to try not to let them run together and the colours stayed separate. Aquamarine has a fair amount of run off used neat, so next time I dyed I diluted it about 50:50 with conditioner and also added the purple very diluted and made no effort to rinse them off carefully and the colours stayed perfectly apart. And there was basically no difference in the intensity of the aquamarine.
Sorry for the long post!

Thanks Marthakins hopefully dyeing tonight if enough time. Gonna use your tips and hopefully it'll work out good. I'm really clumsy and not good at fiddly things, I suppose worst can happen they'll mix and I'll be all purple 😊

I hope it goes well! I'm sure it will as I'm also clumsy with dye and these colours have been one of my more successful experiments.

Meeshybop it was Β£20 which I thought was really good was Β£40 with cut. Im getting roots done there again  usually do them every 3mths, I really hate doing them too.

Im sat here with aquamarine and violet gem waiting to rinse. Now that's the bit im dreading colours mixing. I just bunged aquamarine on first, hope its ok 20mins till dreaded rinse off
