Is there any way to achieve purple over this?

Hi, I'm after advice again  :-[

I have used colour b4 three times over the past month, it's shifted some of the green but I'm still left with a mix. I'd done a bleach bath just before on the roots so I am currently 3 colours. I've bought some of the eggplant by Adore  but do you think it would cover this? I was wanting to avoid a pink fade but would be willing to mix a red purple if that would cover it. Any advice would be hugely appreciated.. I need to be rid of the green in the next couple of weeks.

This is my hair today

I think Adore Rich Eggplant will cover that nicely. Try on a strand to be certain.
It looks to be a warm purple, so should have a pinky fade. Please post pics, i am very interested in seeing the new adore shades on hair.

Thanks for the reply, I'm going to give it a go and see how it turns out. I have 3 bottles so hopefully if the first attempt doesn't work the second will *crosses fingers*

I'll post pics when it's done, I love the adore dyes as there's hardly any rub off and the colour lasts for ages πŸ™‚

It goes on quite a balanced purple over an orange/red base (also almost black freshly done!) but there's not an ounce of pink in its fade. At least on my hair. It's actually fading a grey'd-out purple on my yellow places and toned the orange to ash brown.

Thats interesting, it must be more blue based than it looks on the swathes/in the bottle. Do you have any pics?

I'll try to get some pictures when the light#s better tomorrow. I agree though, I have it swatched on white paper and it's a pinky warm purple, but the more it fades the more blue tones appear. I wonder if it's like the new Directions Plum formula that eventually fades turquoise :/ I'll keep you posted!

Addendum: A vitamin c treatment has revealed turquoise-green tones. Boooo.

I've given it another shampoo and its pretty much given up any pretence at being purple. It's fascinating how this purple seems to fade in layers, red first (the vit c treatment lather was a very pink) then blue, leaving the green behind. Molecule size? The green component somehow infiltrates deepest.
At least I'm quite fond of the peacock green it's left behind, just a shame my base was so uneven.
