Is my green hair faded for a darker muted pastel pink?

Hey guys! My hair is bleach blond and upon dying it lavender it faded into a mint green. During the summer time the chlorine in pools made it a little more intense. I dyed my hair with ion shark blue and it has faded to a mint blue color after about a month. In some parts it looks a little neon. The underparts have blue tones. I wasn't to dye my hair a lighter muted pink. I know that a little green and pink will make it a dingier color (i've taken color theory classes) but I don't want the color to look muddy and uneven. I have attatched photos of my current hair; including the bluish under parts. Please tell me if my hair is faded enough for the pink yet?! My hair is perminately stained green so there's no way to achieve blonde again, unless you have tips? Suggest pink dyed that will cover it well with lighter hues
Thanks in advance! *bee*

No, definitely not faded enough for any kind of pastel pink. You need a solid mid pink at least to cover that because you'll get a pale muddy brown if you try a pastel pink on that, which is still quite a lot of green really (I like it though!). It'll also be uneven because pastel pinks are less opaque. A solid mid pink will be more forgiving. Generally, the paler the colour, the less pigment, or the weaker the pigment, meaning it's going to show the base colour a lot more.

How about working through the spectrum to get there? Start off adding more blue (but not ion which I believe is notorious for staining), then going to purple and that can lead you to pink. As you add more dyes it will help sort of tone your hair which actually might help with the green staining. But also, as you're doing this the green is likely to fade a bit more.

Ahhh! Thank you! I had a feeling my hair looked too dark. So do you think a hot pink would turn into a muted color or should I lean towards a darker pink.
