Right. You probably know I'm trying to fade out my very saturated virgin rose. Pics below are the rather horrendous colour it is now - I feel like a raspberry ripple ice cream! Lol! I plan to do another bb tomorrow (2 weeks since I did one), and will probably pop some very very diluted blue streaks into it just to keep me going (a bit like Katie did with hers before the grey).
But what I really want is some ideas on what to do next. I'm definitely bored of pink. I was wondering about putting something more natural onto it in streaks - maybe an adore colour(although have no idea which one)? Ideally I'd like blonde but that won't happen in a hurry! So would a sort of caramel work over the pink? (I'm not sure about how the bases would mix?) I'm thinking if I streak it in, ill get a mix of blonde, caramel and pink which could either look very odd or quite funky?
Or something completely different that you can think of would be great. I'm kind of running out of ideas and don't really know what I want given blonde isn't an option.
Thank you!
You would have to go pretty dark to cover the pink entirely, maybe a chocolate brown. I would put turquoise over it to make purple, so it was a mix of pink/purple and turquoise (over the newly bleached parts) A gradient from turquoise roots to purple and leave the ends pink would look nice.
Try toning with green on the palest pink parts to see how close to blonde you can get. I think it will keep fading back to pink though.
I'd go for a purple too. This is giving me the idea that unless I go dark or purple in future there's no way getting out of this virgin rose lol
Thank you both - I've got some directions blue lagoon at home so will do something (very diluted) with that today after my bb and then pick up some turquoise in the week. (I need to do SOMETHING before I go back to work tomorrow! I've worn a lot of hats and large headbands this week!)
Ill see what I end up with today.
