so i re blues about 3 weeks ago, so i washed my hair today (sunday=wash day) and loads of blue came out. like a billion more than usually comes out 3 weeks/washes in. i was really impressed that i didn't have as much rub off this week (week/wash2) as what i usually do. meaning im a full time smurf up unitl week 3/4. any hoo, thi is kinda carrying on the sfx topic from the other week, of are your dyes lasting as long? is anyone else's hair washing out super quick?

My sonic green's barely there anymore after about two and a half weeks. I've washed it about four times, just because my hair is really prone to getting greasy, and the rub off up until the last wash was pretty ridiculous (green fingers, green neck, green face after a shower!). By now there just a dark greeny sheen to my hair, with a sliiightly more vibrant patch where I bleached it this one time...It's definitely not lasted as well as it did last time I dyed, even though I've been so much more careful with it. Kind of depressing! πŸ˜›

I haven't noticed extra bleeding but I have thought I've been covered in bruises when actually its where my dye has rubbed off on me in my sleep.

Do you wash your hair with freezing cold water? Hot water opens the cuticle which allows more color to escape.
