im pretty sure gthicle said she sed neon blue over her natural dark hair which worked well
http://www.hairdyegallery.co.uk/dir-neonblue.html

are your best bet for blue, bot to blue, that will covder her current hair, the thing with not bleaching is it may not last as long, as blue is notorius for not lasting more than 2weeks.

also the unbleached section sins n needles was on about

My Pimpin Purple still hasn't faded, not a bit of blonde in my bright now-pink hair. BUT when it fades I'm doing blue. Naturally, I wanted a Special Effects blue... but the blue I've wanted since I was like 11 is an aqua-turquoise color WITHOUT the green tint. You know what I mean? SE doesn't have that (if they do, please enlighten me!), and Directions Lagoon Blue is the exact color I've always wanted... BUT I want a long lasting color like my Pimpin Purple! I'm gonna keep it in overnight when I do it (which will not be for a while, I just like planning ahead), but I want to make sure it lasts over a month, hopefully longer! Actually, if it doesn't last longer I really don't want it. I have high expectations! From personal experiences, do any of you know how long Lagoon Blue lasts? If not, do you know of any colors that will last that long that are similar to Lagoon Blue? Thanks!

well im pretty sure that lagoon blue is a green based blue, so will fade to green. also as it's a light blue, you'll need to get it pretty white, especailly of you're trying to not be to green (yellow + blue= green) also with blue, it fades quick. i've been quite lucky and lazy that i can go 4weeks without my blue looking to dire, but most people can only get a week or two =s

here's some reviews, which may help you make your mind up

Yeah, apparently its a purple AND green based blue, so I think that would kinda even it out.

My lagoon blue lasted a week or two, but I was a frequent heat styler back then, it wasn't over white blonde hair, just bleached yellow and faded greeny. I'll pop a picture up of it fresh and faded in the morning.

This is my Lagoon Blue fresh, it stayed like that for a little while.

And my Lagoon Blue faded, excuse me I was at a Mexican Party.

It was over bleached hair, thats why the ends are a weird blondey grey colour lol but it stuck more to the lighter blonde hair near the top from bleaching. The rest of my hair is XXL Red Passion, which then faded to that browny red in the second picture.

Recently I've dyed my hair with Stargazer-Coral Blue and it came out perfectly but only on my roots! The first few days were fine but most of my hair has quickly faded to a greeny-yellow colour. My roots are fine. I know this is because my roots were originally (after the bleach) lighter than the rest of my hair (my roots being pale yellow and the rest of my hair being yellowy blonde). At this point I should have put in the lilac toner but at the time I didn't have any and was in a hurry to have my hair blue... xD
Can you put lilac toner in the green hair? Will it make a difference?
So what I'm really asking is, What do I do with my hair?
I've already looked up and used the 'Alka seltzer' (2 alka seltzer tablets in 2inches of water and a squirt of baby shampoo, and left in the hair for 5 minutes) hair treatment, to try and remove the green, but it's just made the green part of my hair browny-green (it looks worse!)
Do I continue to try and fade my hair?
Do I fade my hair as much as possible and then dye a darker blue over it? (Stargazer Royal Blue)
Do I bleach?
Do I just abandon the blue and dye it an alternative colour?
Thanks πŸ™‚
By the way, the desired colour is vibrant blue.. any tips?

Hey πŸ™‚ I had the same issue with my roots last time I did my blue . I also used a toner and everything etc...but i just re dyed it the next day and it was fine . Stargazer is not a very good dye I recommend using directions . Their blue's look great and they stay very well . If you want to strip the green the you could try washing up liquid or anti dandruff shampoo. If not that then use colour b4 - http://www.hair dyeforum.com/index.php?topic=893.0 . I would not ! bleach it again wait a few weeks at least or you could do a bleach bath - http://www.hair dyeforum.com/index.php?topic=995.0 it's much better on you're hair - or if all that doesn't appeal then maybe use a very dark blue like directions Atlantic blue ?
