I've had a teal/forest green/blue ombré for a while and recently I had it re-lightened to pull the ombre up higher and then dyed turquoise blue again. After the hair dresser lightened it she just layered a mix of turquoise with a tiny dash of blue over my whole head. The ends of my hair that had been previously lightened turned out a nicer saturated turquoise. The hair that had been lightened for the first time however went a much greener colour..
I thought I could more or less correct it just by throwing on a layer of blue, even if it wasn't one solid colour I thought it'd maybe at least all be more blue. I used Manic Panic Voodoo blue over it and it soortof worked, but not really..
Anyone have any suggestions for how i can smooth it out/make it more blue without going in and lightening the whole thing again? I'd rather give my hair a break especially since it's just the one band around my head that is the wrong colour..
here are some pictures for reference
1) Level of lightness
2) Before trying to correct
3) Before swatch test
4) After swatch test - both strips together.. not too much different
5) After whole head
You will struggle to get a clear blue on the orange parts.
I would try mixing some pink/magenta into the voodoo blue and applying to just those parts, it should make a truer blue with less green tones
