Hi all! So I've had purple for about 10 months now and my hair is fairly long. Over the months a kind of ombre has developed where the bottom half of my hair is significantly more pinky toned than the top half. I think this is a build up of dyes. What could i do to even it up please?

Add a bit of blue? It’s possible what’s happening is the blue in the dye is washing out of the ends because they’re a bit more damaged than the roots and leaving more pink. It can happen.

Ah yes, thank you, it could well be what's happening. Would you reccomend just putting some blue straight on my hair or adding extra blue to the purple dye?

If you just need more blue at the bottom, just put it there. Otherwise the top will be too blue 🙂
