Hello! I was wondering if, to achieve dark pink pastel hair, from a base brown hair (pic below) I would need to bleach the areas I want to dye. Since I don't want the color to be very vibrant, but I don't want it to be very dark, how could I get the color from the picture, and would it require bleach? Thanks!
(btw, ignore the blonde part at the end)

That image is photoshopped, her real hair is a medium brown with bleached ends. It isn't a colour that can be recreated with dye, as you can't add a sheer tint to dark hair, it just doesn't show up.
You could add fine highlights over your brown base and dye them pink. You need to bleach to a pale blonde if you don't want a peachy shade of pink.
