How to achieve Blue-Purple hair?

Direction Plum (the newer batch) starts off a little pinker than that but fades to that bluer colour, while SFX Blue Mayhem starts off a little bluer than that and fades purplish. Either one of those might get you what you're looking for

That is the exact shade of my hair right now.  I got it using Special Effects Wildflower mixed 50/50 with Manic Panic Violet Night.  I also got a very similar color mixing Pravana Violet with Pravana Blue 3:1 and diluting it with conditioner.

Did you have to bleach it up a lot or will it work on kinda yellow hair?

The paler it is, the better the result will be.  My roots gave me a heck of a time this round, and parts of it only got down to a goldish yellow.  Those parts look too pink.  So as long as you don't have any gold tones, you should be good.  Tone down the yellow a bit though if you can - after I bleach I like to wash with Shimmer Lights and that helps cut out a lot of the yellow.
