How can I achieve this colour?

This may be an obvious question and there may already be a colour out there.  I would prefer to mix Directions colours as I'm on a tight budget.  If it helps my hair kinda looks like the photo however it's more greyish now.  (pink over faded alpine green)

**Edited to add, this is assuming you're talking about the first photo. There are others there, so I'm not sure.

There is one thing about that picture. It's actually photoshopped. I found the original a while ago and I think it was a red? Not sure now, but it wasn't that pink anyway. So, that adds the problem of it being very difficult to really replicate colours that aren't "real" or the colour saturation on a photo has been fiddled with, they tend to have a lot more dimention and look richer.

That being said, we've been asked about that photo a LOT. I think the general thoughts have been mixes of Rubine, Rose Red and Carnation. Petes_dragon got a similar, though slightly more neon raspberry using Rubine and Carnation http://www.hairdyeforum.com/index.php?topic=13241.msg150829#msg150829 Though she was starting with purple so you might need to add some purple in to replicate it.

Unfortunately, I think a lot of the other threads where we've come up with mixes have been deleted now, so I can't find any old suggestions πŸ™

I can't help, but I saw a woman whilst out shopping yesterday & she stopped me to comment on my hair & her her was more or less this colour, maybe just a tad more red. It looked amazing, if I had more time I would have asked her what colours she used as this is defintaly a colour I would try. I know the store she works in as that's where I saw her. Hopefully I'll see her again soon & then I'll ask & hopefully solve this mystery πŸ˜€

I would definitely try Rubine and maybe add Rose Red. Rubine starts dark, red wine coloured, then as it fades gets pinker. It has more red tones in it than Rose Red which is magenta and fades to neon pink. You will want to dilute both colours, they are really strongly pigmented (especially rose red)

I used a mix of directions Dark tulip and cerise and got something very similar to this. It was slightly more pink as i added the dyes 1:1.  If you do 1 pot dark tulip : 1/2 cerise you should get this color
