Highlighting/toning nightmare (brassy, orange dark blonde w hints of gray/green)

After a couple years of light blonde highlighting, I had my hair toned to my natural dark, ashy blonde but it came out a little more coppery than I would have liked, and a little too dark at the top

So I tried to give myself a couple face framing highlights - which did a good job of lightening up the darkness on top of my head (had a bit of an ombre that was too drastic). However they were obviously orangey.

I tried purple shampoo for a couple hours which did nothing. Then I got Wella Color Charm T18 and left it in for a couple hours - still a little orange. So I got Wella T14 which I heard is better for orange. After a few more hours of that my hair is still brassy and now the bottom has tints of gray/green throughout it.

Why isn't the toner pulling the orange and how can I even out my overall color?? Looking for a friend

Goal: (1) getting back to a human color (2) IDEALLY: want nice dark ashy blonde hair

THANK YOU!!!!

Whoa there! Firstly, using more than one product with peroxide in a short period is really a bad idea. Secondly, never, ever leave anything with peroxide in for more than an hour. Never.

Added to that, the toners you used aren't designed to take out orange tones, they're designed for yellow tones.

As you've processed that hair three times, and for a really long time, you have to stay away from peroxide until you can really access the damage. I'd normally suggest toning with a diluted blue, but that is just going to turn very blue on the parts that are grey. You'll probably have to use an adore brown for now. Someone else needs to suggest a shade, natural colours aren't my strong point.
