Hi guys! In need of some advice please!
I got my roots bleached in a salon recently as my usual hairdresser friend was on holiday. They used a 30 peroxide bleach which i thought was weird as my friend usually uses a 20 . Anyway, the salon then toned my hair, it was fairly light although not as light as i usually get it and the toner didn't take to my roots as well either or the ends of my hair. A week later i washed my hair with baby shampoo, used scott cornwalls platinum toner to try and even out/lighten what the salon didn't achieve and then used Bleach londons rose toner on top for about 15 minutes as stated. this also didn't take to my roots as well- is a bit more peachy and I'm hoping that the salon has actually got them as light as the rest of my hair as i had to pay so much for it! I've used bleach londons rose colour a couple of times before and it always washes out straight away, almost too easily, however, this time i can't seem to get the colour to budge and i can't think why. Does anyone have any ideas/advice please as I'm going on holiday to thailand next week and really want the colour gone by then. it's a really pale pink as my hair is toned to a champagne blonde/almost white usually. Thank you!
Have you tried soaking your hair in head and shoulders for ages, that shifts dye quite well. Also if it's been over a month since you had your hair bleached you could try the bleach powder and oils technique for fading your hair, there's a tutorial on it in the tutorials section. Since your hair is only pale
Pink though I think that using enough head and shoulders should get rid of it.
i haven't tried that! thanks, will give it a go! didn't want to use bleach when it's already so bleached and pale π the colours actually really nice but just don;t want it to be stained lol
Hopefully just some vigorous shampooing should help then π also if head and shoulders doesn't work then you can try washing up liquid. But this is harsh so you'll need a really good conditioner afterwards.
