Help me with colour placement please - post-bleach update

So new year, new hair is happening!!

My hair was virgin darkish brown.
Bleached patchily with a Live XXL Max Blonde kit, then evened up with a targeted application of Matrix bleach powder & 20vol developer.  It's now kind of yellow, with the delightful pale "hot roots" effect I was warned about  :-[  and yes I bleached it twice in one week and no I won't be doing that again!!

I've only conditioned it with my normal conditioner and a few drops of coconut oil for now (it was past my bedtime lol), it feels ok but I'm sure that's an illusion.  I've got the trusty old K-Pak protein reconstructor which I'll probably do at the weekend before attempting to tone with diluted dye.  I did a protein & deep hydration after the first round of bleach but obviously I've undone that now so I'll redo it.

So let's talk colour!

Dyes I've got are:

• Adore Indigo Blue
• Adore Violet Gem
• Adore Aquamarine
• Directions Neon Blue
• Directions Atlantic Blue
• Directions Lagoon Blue
• Directions Rubine

My naughty side (the side that likes to overcomplicate matters) is still screaming GALAXY HAIR!!!  Or at least sections/streaks.  Which I've never done before!  And I'm not sure will work on hair this short.  Overlapping layers for example, probably not going to work.

I've been wondering about not quite a cruella but reddy/pinky-purple on one side, bluey-purple on the other and purple purple down the middle... but unless I buy more dye that would mean mixing Adore with Directions, is that possible?  More of a gradient than hard sections probably.
I've aaaaaaaalways wanted purple hair but I wonder if I should take this opportunity to do something more interesting than just one flat colour all over.

I think I've probably got too much yellow for the Aquamarine, it might pull to green and I'm not feeling like green is where I want to go just now. 
Am I right in saying that I should tone with purple to calm down the yellowness?

Any advice or inspiration for multicoloured short hair?
