Hello and thanks for reading.
I've been dying my hair pastel colours for a very long time, and there's so much info on bleaching strikes etc, but what if I want to revert it? I'm a bit tired of how my colour its at the moment, To achieve the pastel colours.. specially the lilac ( it won't work if it isn't pretty much white), so I had all my hair bleached in my base a very light colour, and any colour I put on top now just looks bad, I want to add some texture to it, so it's not all like a wig, so want to go to a dark base colour but keep some of the white hair I already have so I can later color that a pastel pink or any colour and it goes well with the dark base.
My problem here is, I have no idea how to dye it a dark grey and keep some of the white hair as strikes without having to dye all my head dark gray and having to bleach the the strikes.
I'm not sure if you can understand what I'm trying to say. but help! any ideas?
thank you very much!
You could do opposite foils. Pack the streaks you want to leave into (aluminium) foils, maybe with condish in, then cover the rest of your hair with the colour.
Do you already have a grey colour in mind?
There's a picture by katiesipierski (the third pic in the thread) would that shade be what you're aiming for? Or even darker?

Keep in mind that if you use a colour that often bleeds, it might bleed into the streaks later when you wash your hair.
