Having green + pink without cancelling each other

Hi ladies!

So I've enrolled a mobile hairdresser to help me with my hair (she thinks that those tone/ color add ons meant for professional permanent dye are indeed permanent but that's a different story!)

What I really want is to have some pink and purple in my turquoise / regal blue / aqua combo  - something like this but without the floglow bits http://www.flickr.com/photos/uggoff/8859677350/#in/set-72157624100453141

My current shade is a  light minty blue -almost pastel I'd say- (sadly I don't have any photos that show the color properly).

I had a green pink ombre that just didn't work and after that  I had a slice of pinegreen and  another one with some pink in my mostly turquoise hair (the pink eventually became purple, the green stayed ok).

Any who, my question is  can I have middle tones (not quite jewel like) of green and pink and purple without cancelling each other?

I'm quite lazy/busy so washing them separately isn't really an option!

Thanks!

Yes, but its easiest if you have a buffer between them, like some blue.

I currently have a green/pink ombre cruella and i am too lazy to section my hair before i wash it. Since i used alpine green which is blue based ( not as strongly blue as before but still noticeable) a tiny bit of the middle has gone ever so slightly bluey purple.
I would do what Janine said and have a blue buffer or just pick a blue based green so you don't get a muddy mix.

Thanks ladies! I have the CC alpine green kind of shade, I'll add some CC peacock blue just in case!
