Grey/silver dye not working - help please it's getting worse!

Hi everyone, looking for some much needed help please.

I'm trying to get to grey/silver but it isn't working. I did have blonde streaks all over which I was trying to lighten up enough to get to grey but they went so orange I freaked out and dyed the top of my parting black and now have streaks at the front and underneath. These have been bleached three times now and still won't take the silver / greatly completely. It's patchy and kind of silver and gold but it looks rubbish and I hate it.

I have used crazy colours silver, stargazer silver and B blonde silver toner (which I've found best overall). I also mixed some crazy colours hot purple with crazy colours silver yesterday  and that has pulled through to a bit green at the front now!

First question is any tips to get to grey? Ideally, I don't want to bleach again until after Xmas (want to give my hair a break). Could I do a better job of making a mixture with the purple again?

Second question - if I can't get to grey until I beach again - could I go another colour interim and then bleach over that again to get to grey or would it ruin what I've been working towards? -  I already have  crazy colours hot purple, crazy colours Bordeaux and directions carnation - do would need to be one of these really as I have spent so much on my hair already!!

Any help much appreciated!

Pics would really help.
The grey dyes you have tried will only work on a perfect light base. There are darker/more pigmented greys available which may cover an imperfect base far better. Nirvel Grey, Pravana silver, Joico titanium, ion Titanium are all dark greys. You can also mix your own, i like Adores Blue Black diluted with conditioner with a drop of Special effects Deep Purple

Adore platinum is great for uneven bases. Its very blue based like pravana silver.

i agree that pravana silver is super blue-ish especially if u mixed it with conditioner in 1:1 ratio
there's a new one from kenra by guy tang, metallic collection, they have silver metalic and violet metallic both in permanent and demi. from the picture, it looks gray without any hint of blue ( unless u mixed it with colour booster)
