I typed out the whole story and it somehow deleted (grrrr) so long story short, my hair is light green and I was attempting lilac lol. I've tried bleach baths and baking soda with shampoo and nothing's budging this colour any more. I noticed directions plum when mixed with conditioner goes pinky, would this neutralise the green or make more of a mess? I need this fixed ASAP :(((
Have you tried a colour remover yet? Greens are quite hard to budge and do tend to stain the hair more. I recently put pink over my pale green ends and they turned a nice lilacy purple, so maybe try using a diluted pink. Could you post a photo of your hair colour at the moment so we can see how green it is?

Thanks for replying! I was going to use a colour remover but read somewhere that they don't work on fashion colour! Do you have before and after pics of your hair you could show me? I cant really get a photo of exactly what colour it is but here's an idea:
That is light enough to cover with lilac. Just choose a pink based one as the green will pull it more blue.
If you definitely have the old formula Plum (that fades pink) it will work over the green, but the new formula fades very blue and is very sticky so would only add to your problem.
Maybe try on a strand test and see how it fades.

Thank you for replying! It's a little more green than it looks in the picture! I only got the plum recently but when it was mixed with conditioner it was really vibrant pink, will this work? If not, which other shade would you suggest?
I had lilac over faded turquoise staining using the old formula Plum. (I mixed with Neon Blue to make it less pink)They have been making the new bluer formula for quite a while though, the chances of getting the old stuff is pretty slim, but there is definitely some about. It does sound like you have a pot of it. You could try it on a strand and then see what happens when you put bleach on it. I am pretty sure the old Plum didnt go green/blue, but went pink with bleach.
I now use special effects Deep Purple mixed with a little Blue Velvet heavily diluted for the longest lasting pastels. This combination can be used to make any shade of purple, and won't go green when bleached.
