Go back dark or a bit of purple

My hair is currently dyed ash brown on top and bleached ombré on the ends,by using purple shampoo it has gone paler rather than orangey because of the warm colours from my previous hair colour. I'm fed up already and was going to put some directions lavender through the blonde like streaks I've done a test strand and it took well. But I'm unsure if I want to do it, how hard will it be to cover with a brown after its faded? Or should I just put a brown over it as I sort of miss being a brown

Lavender isn't a strong dye so it should be rather easy to cover with a brown. If you put a brown over your bleached ends it may go a little green, depending on the brown.
