Getting rid of dye in scalp (Directions Plum)

Hi! So I finally dyed my hair with a Directions Plum that wasn't purely blue from that recipe change of doom xD Now my only problem, that I previously had with other dyes... is the purple scalp. How in the world does one either prevent the scalp from being dyed or remove the dye from the scalp.

I've washed with shampoo today and it removed some of it but not all, the problem is I'm scared of people seeing my coloured scalp and thinking I have something weird haha.

So please, any and all input is welcome. I just can't apply dye and not touch the scalp with it, seems totally impossible to me. And I don't want to scrub the hair until the dye unsticks from the scalp because I want my colour to stay, at least, for a month (which is how long Directions lasts for me).

So really, just tell me how you people do it D:

I'm afraid my only method is shampoo and time. Shampoo your scalp really super well next time you wash your hair and hope for the best!

It doesn’t really bother me. I have used face wipes to remove the worst sometimes.

Haha yeah I did just that and the third wash did the trick. I didn't want to scrub my scalp so much that the dye at the roots would all go out. It really STICKS to my scalp it's crazy. Anyway thanks for the input haha!
