dying over blue

Don't bleach.

Some of the red/orange tones will be turned more brown by the blue. So if you want it slightly more red then add some more red 🙂

I does depend on how dark/light the blue is, can you give us a photo?

I'm most interested in seeing the difference in the depth of the blue in the lighter and darker patches. It might make a lot of difference.

Might be worth trying a colour remover though.
Is the colour difference just from the way the dye has faded, or was your base a little uneven to begin with?  (I've had both scenarios!)

still wont let me post pic I'm useless on internet. yeah it was an uneven base it was purple thrn I made mistake of using crazy colour hot purple which turned most of it blue so gave In and started using blue.  it's really light at roots and ends and a darker blue a big strip around middle of hair then light at ends it's weird.  and I've got an inch if dark blonde roots.  looks horrendous lol x

Do you actually want to go brown again?

I went from black to red from red to pink from pink to Orange from Orange to  green from green to purple from purple to blue  and this has been in space of about 5 years.  sick of dying my hair and getting my bathroom redecorated so want something easier to manage and more natural x
