Hi
I have heard you are not supposed to use any dye Inc temporary dye after using henna. So how long do you wait in between? I was thinking it would be nice to have just a hint of colour over my current brown.

I think the issue is with dyes where peroxide is used, it can send the henna odd colours or (depending what's in it) react badly.
I don't imagine a direct dye would hurt though ... but whether it will show up is another question. Henna coats the outside of the hair shafts so it might not even take.

Yeah, it’s just peroxide because it reacts badly with metallic salts that can be in henna. It gets really hot and can burn your hair off. Direct dye should be no problem at all.
