I just used the ion (the non peroxide/rinse version) with purple and I love how it came out but I don't think it's going to last long at all! I did strand test it and it lasted decently but it was in the middle of my hair where it doesn't fade as fast. The ion black is very purpley plum based anyway which works for what I have but I want to keep it deep for a while. I don't know if many veg brands make black but I'd love to hear some new suggestions! Thanks so much!! <3

i love the adore blacks! I currently have their blue black on my hair and wash once a week with cool/warm water and no special shampoo and the blue black stayed black for about 3 or 4 washes. it is now what I would consider blue black. looks like a super dark blue in sunlight but looks fairly black indoors. their other blacks are just black. not so blue. try jet black or black velvet.
