Do tulip/rubine bleed as much as rose red?

I need to do my roots for an interview on Friday but next week i am at glastonbury and i don't want to have to worry about my hair getting wet then making me & my clothes pink so i can't use rose red as it still bleeds slightly and i dyed it 2 weeks ago, diluted 1:1 with conditioner....

I am thinking if i go over my roots & mid lengths in a darker shade of a similar colour it'll result in an ombre effect. That way i'll also get away without bleaching my roots as they're not quite long enough to justify doing but a bit longer than i'd like to go to an interview with. I was thinking a blue which would result in a purple through pink ombre but i don't know if it would disguise my roots.

So, do tulip and rubine bleed as much as rose red & which one is closest in colour to Rose Red?

Thanks πŸ™‚

I don't think either of those are as heavily pigmented as rose red. Maybe try diluting further to prevent bleeding. Tulip is a much warmer pink than rose red, Rubine is a funny colour, it starts out a dark red but fades much pinker. The closest colour to Rose Red would actually be Cerise, Flamingo Pink is similar (ie it has that neon glow) but lighter.

Thanks Wicked Pixie

How far would you recommend diluting it, do you think 1 part colour to 2 parts conditioner would be too much?

The bleed was so much better compared to neat, she i first did it neat neat it was staining my back a week later each time i washed my hair!

It feels so silly dying my hair again when the colour is still so vibrant, but i really want my hair to look perfect for this interview (they probably won't even notice lol)

It's not silly to dye while it's still vibrant, I did The same thing for a job interview last week. Perfect hair is always worth it!
