Hi all, so in November, I dyed my hair ebony and it faded from dark blue to green.
I went to the salon in dec to bleach my roots since my hair has been growing.. And the salon tried to bleach the green faded hair from ebony and it just went into a lighter green.
I then decided to dye my hair with temporary adore purple Color and it gave me a very nice ombré hair.
But now that the adore purple has faded, it's back to this yucky green stained by directions.
Is there anyway I can get rid of it to have my blonde hair back?
I've attached photos.
Sorry for my English and am pretty new here still
It might be possible, but one thing people learn quickly with black dye... only use it if you can accept that going back to blonde might be impossible. I'm afraid pretty much every black dye can stain.
You need to fade it as much as you can, then try a colour remover. You can use colour removers up to three times. I suspect the best result you might get is a light brown or dark blonde (through toning the green when it's faded)
It's temporary black Color by la Richie though. I didn't expect it to stain because I normally Use adore temp dye on my blonde hair and it doesn't stain. It's the first time I use directions temp dye.
I can't seem to attach photos ;(
No, I know. I know the directions line very well. 🙂 All black dyes can stain though. They have a very high concentration of pigment to make black, because black isn't actually a colour, it's just a high concentration of another colour and that means they can stain.Even adore black dyes can stain.
All temporary colours can stain though. Again, even adore. The more you use them, the more you realise this. Especially dark or intense colours. The darker or more intense the colour the more pigment is in it, therefore the more likely it is to stain.
Oh wow. Cause when I did dark blue and purple they didn't. Argh. Now even bleach can't remove the green 🙁 any recommendation for the Color removers?
As I say, they CAN stain. The more you use dyes, the more likely they are to stain over time. The more damaged your hair becomes, the more they can stain (general day to day living damages your hair on top of anything else). There's a whole host of reasons. Some we know, some just seem to be a mystery. Some people can use a dye on and off for years and then suddenly find one day it's stained. It's just a risk you end up becoming aware of over time.
What country you're in depends on recommendations.
Anything from the states?
Cause probably have to order online and ship over to Singapore.
Everything is too pricey here
In that case, can you order from the UK? For once the options are far better from the UK. More choice and many I believe are cheaper. Decolour Remover, colourB4, JoBazz and Colourless are all good. There's others too, but I've tried The ones I mentioned.
If US is the only option, you want colorfix.
Ooohh.. Ok!
I'll have a check on the shipping fee for uk. Thank you
