Diluting question

What conditioners do you guys use to dilute? I've seen many saying any old cheap, white conditioner but if I've been trying to stay cone free I don't want to put them in...

So what should I use?

You've got it right, just anything without cones is fine πŸ™‚

Does it have to be white? Or is that just to help with guessing the outcome of the colour? I have a non cone conditioner but it's yellow....

White really is best, for that exact reason. Any tint of colour can make it difficult to judge. Saying that though, last time I diluted turquoise I used a pretty yellowy conditioner, but then I knew I only wanted it lighter. I wasn't going for a specific shade.

I use Tresemme Naturals because it is white, cone free and deeply conditioning.

I use Tesco's own coconut conditioner - the 80p one (might be a pound now). I also use it for conditioner washing.

I might use it then, I am also just aiming for lighter not specifically a certain shade.
