I believe box demis tend to have 10 or 20 vol developers in with them.
The amount of damage from them is minimal, however, they really shouldn't be used over already processed hair. The colour result can be unpredictable if not over virgin hair, and even these low volumes can push already processed or heat damaged hair over the edge.
