Dark Tulip V Rubine?

How does Dark Tulip compare to Rubine in terms of staying power?
Rubine is my daughters go-to colour when she can't bleach her roots, it covers her dark blonde/light brown natural colour perfectly and doesn't fade any quicker than on the bleached lengths.
Fancied trying Dark Tulip for a change, but  I can't remember how well it lasts on natural hair. Also what are the differences between the two? Dark Tulip looks darker in the pot, is it more purple than Rubine?

I found Rubine to be longer lasting than Dark Tulip, and Rubine was a beautiful dark ruby red, and Dark Tulip was a more purpley pinky aubergine-y red (the technical terms, haha!).

Thanks, I have just bought a tub of each and Rubine is much redder in the tub, I know it fades much more pink though. I think we will probably mix them together, but I am loving the look of Dark Tulip in the pot. Did the dark Tulip fade more purpley?

I'm sure you've already found this thread? http://www.hairdyeforum.com/index.php?topic=10251.0 Mixing Rubine and Dark Tulip is such a pretty pinky purple!

I don't really know Dark Tulips true fade, as I also had Mandarin and Poppy Red in my hair so it all bled into each other. I do remember though, that I wasn't happy with how the Dark Tulip turned out so I bought a pot of Rubine and went over it with that.

It was that thread that inspired my daughter to try Dark Tulip πŸ˜€ It is such a pretty colour I am surprised it isn't more popular.
